Katlego K Kolanyane-Kesupile (Kat Kai Kol-Kes) is a groundbreaking Trans* ARTivist from Botswana working in communications, performing arts, education and human rights. Her writing spans multiple categories including music, poetry, playwriting, commentary and academic research. Named one of the 100 most influential women of African descent in 2018 by OkayAfrica, she uses her creative work to bridge gaps which create barriers to access of knowledge for marginalized communities. She is currently a UN Religion Fellow with Outright Action International.
