Nina Milhaud holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in International Development Studies, Political Science, and East Asian Studies. Her primary area of interest concerns human rights and forced migration studies. More specifically, she is passionate about refugee rights advocacy, refugee protection, and the intersection between gender and forced migration. Since 2015, she has been actively involved with Opportutoring, a student-led organization which provides refugee students with free, tailored online English tutoring across Europe and the Middle East. She recently completed an internship at the Canadian Council for Refugees, and is now interested in pursuing further work in the field of human rights and mass atrocities prevention before starting her graduate studies in 2019.
